I’ve always believed that what begins well ends well. In that energy I try to begin my day with positive morning rituals daily. Yes, there are some days when I can’t do them all and thats ok too. The important thing is that I am trying to positive and trying to keep my energy high daily.

The other reason I swear by starting my day off right, is because of the nature of my work. Being a Therapist means I help my clients deal with a lot of their life’s complicated stuff, which can be very heavy energetically at times. If I don’t begin my day on a high note, I feel like I can’t fully help my clients to raise their vibration. So, positive me means positive and happy clients
🙂

Here are the 5 morning rituals I swear by as a therapist to raise my vibration and that of all I meet:

5 Morning Rituals I Swear By as a Therapist

1. Upon waking, focus on what you look forward to. No matter what my day consists of — there will be one (or more) things that I look forward to. It could be sitting on the sofa watching an episode of a series, it can be cuddling my daughter, going for a walk, talking to one of my besties or just reading a book in peace.
But I go there first thing and the feeling floods my system.

2. Check in on yourself. How are you feeling? Adjust the day according to your inner temperature. Some days all I can muster is getting up, going to work and going to bed — and that’s ok. Other days I do it all. I see many of my clients being way too hard on themselves when their inner voice asks for rest and compassion instead of hustling. Listen to your body and your mind.

3. Daily affirmations. I always do affirmations while brushing my teeth — one habit linked to another which is a great way of getting it all into your day.
My favorites affirmations are:
– Things are always working out for me
– I am enough
– I am exactly where I’m supposed to be
– I am doing well

4. Have a calm breakfast. Our digestive system does not like stress AT ALL. The happy hormone Serotonin is created in the gut so I’m always mindful of the pace that I eat and the thoughts going through my mind. Bloating and feeling uncomfortable is often the result of shoving something down my neck before rushing off and affects my WHOLE day. So I make a point of enjoying my morning cup of coffee and toast, slowly. My husband often teases me saying, “are you drinking coffee or a juice?”

5. Clarity. I love simplicity and cleanliness as a way of expressing myself. I like to make sure my work desk is clean and clutter free before I begin my sessions. It doesn’t have to be a complicated process but it has to feel right for ME. I see it as just another way of showing up in the world in a way that makes me happy and fulfilled. A clean desk makes me feel clear in my head. The better I feel, the more content I become which benefits the world around me, my family and my clients.

Did any of these inspire you? What would you add?
