“If someone offers you an amazing opportunity to do something and you’re not sure you can do it, say yes. Then learn how to do it later.” ~ Richard Branson

There are some questions that never need to hear the answer NO.

Just imagine the possibility of what your life would be like if you always said YES more often. If you accepted every invitation, dared to enjoy every adventure and chose to be friends with strangers. Of course, this could put you in some risky positions but it could also make your life a whole lot more interesting. There are surely questions that should be answered with a resounding NO. When it comes to your emotional boundaries and healing you need to say No a lot more…but then when it comes to making life more interesting many more questions can be answered with a definitive yes.

“Yes” has magic within it. So often we are afraid of life — we fear failure, we anticipate the worst, we don’t know what to expect. So, we say NO. But often by saying “no”, we reject many of life’s brilliant chances.

Here is a look at five such positive questions that you should always answer YES to:

5 Positive Questions You Should Always Answer YES to

1.Do you think we should do something different?

The best way to make your life more interesting is to take advantage of the opportunity to do something different whenever the opportunity presents itself.

When your friend suggests a movie from a genre you would not normally watch, say yes. When your hairstylist asks if you want to try a bold new cut or color, say yes. When your husband suggests trying a new restaurant for dinner, say yes. When your daughter asks if you can go to a new place that you’ve never been to instead of taking the same old family trip, say yes.

The worst thing that is going to happen is that you’ll know not to do it again. The best thing that can happen is that a world of new experiences will open up to you.

2.Do you like how you spent your day?

This is an important YES because it shows that you are happy with your life. Of course, you may not love the type of work that you’re doing right now. You may not enjoy the day-to-day chores of your house. But you should be able to infuse enough positive energy into your every day life to always be able to answer “yes”, to always be able to say that you generally like the way that you spend your day.

3.Are you successful?

YES! We are all successful at something. Understanding what that is and being able to explain it clearly to someone else is a powerful thing. It gives us confidence. It allows us to be proud of ourselves. It reminds us that we are good at something and that gives us the inner strength that we need to keep taking risks on trying new things.

4.Can I… ?

The inner critic aka Negative self talk is the most damaging thing in our life. We often tell ourselves that we can’t do something, preventing the experience of finding out what we do and do not enjoy in life. Anytime that you find yourself asking, “Can I really do ____?” you want to answer yes. Say yes even if you don’t believe it yet – you will eventually believe it!

5.Do you really love yourself?

This is hands down the most important questions that you will want to answer YES to. If you live your life the way that you want while always following your heart and your core values, then the answer to this question will always be yes!

You block the miracle if you don’t say YES….

You know that opportunity knocks gently and does not wait for perfect timing. The truth is, there is no perfect timing! We need to trust that the Divine has a bigger plan for us, one that we can only understand with hindsight. When we say no, we reject more than the opportunity, we reject the fun it brings, what it teaches us and the gifts that can unfold if we don’t allow the initial yes.

Tell me- Which question are you going to answer YES to?
